Elite Wasp

Finally found the Elite Wasp on the north side of the Witch's house. It looked only slightly larger than a regular Wasp and wasn't much more powerful.

Somehow, the starting location get set to Bahamar Wetlands. As I am running low on warp scrolls, we'll have to make the long journay back to civilization by foot.

Bahamar Quests

Progressing on the Bahamar quest line tonight. Completed up to the part where Mysterious Water is required. Sierra's hut looks bigger on the inside than outside.
There was a scary moment where Florence and Iris were nearly knocked out by Sierra's summoned creatures but they miraculously bounced back. If they were truly knocked out, I doubt Maria would have been able to finish the mission within the time limit.

Katovic quests

Finished a portion of the Katovic quests, up to the point where we collect rare ingredients to make some sort of soup. Apparently, those Golden Apples, Beets, and Cabbages are pretty rare. Most of the quest goals were completed by Maria alone, while in Defender stance as she was able to consistenly survive, concentrate on a single creature type, and ignore the rest. The above picture shows Ryrin Heart located in the Frozen Waste.
Our wizard Louise was also able to survive so long as she was in Levitation stance and has SP refill potions. Unfortunately, there are some ground based creatures with antlers that were able to hit her so she wasn't able to make it through the entire questline. We also tested a team with Iris (musketeer), Florence, and Grace. This high damage gun toting team was able to survive so long as there are less than 5 creatures attacking. Any more than that and Florence's Heals will be unable to keep up. I think I'll try using this combination to look for the soup ingredients.

Sight shot

Iris testing out Sight Shot in Skeleton Nest. Outrage Shot uses way too many bullets.

Lair of Jormongand

Tonight our clan ventured into the Lair of Jormongand. We had 17 families participating but the first boss, Reydeavaricia, was very tough. It was pretty easy to get his health down to half and even down to a quarter. However, at that point, he seems to switch tactics and fire off bright green balls of slime that kill people in 1 hit. It also had a strong knockback for the target usually fllies back and hits the wall. This made Florence's job pretty easy as she just needed to run circles around the room and ressurect the bodies flying her way. Those green balls did hit her quite a few times too. About 200 ressurection potions was used in this venture.

Louise's initial job as the wizard was to cast Dispel whenever the boss casts Protection on himself. Even though the Dispel would get rid of his spell icon, the effect seems to still be there.

In other news, Iris, our musketeer, has reached Veteran status and have learned the Sight Shot and Outrage stances. She will most likely be the last family member to reach Veteran status as we have exhausted our supply of Veteran scrolls and Gold. With this, we have all 5 of the stock characters in Veteran status plus Grace, who is a great leveler.

Clan event

Today, our clan held a clan only event. It's basically something do within the clan. First we split into 2 squads as the number of members exceeded the maximum squad member limit. Afterwards, the event organizer activated a bunch of expensive spinelles. I heard that he spent 20 million on them. Since we were still together, a bunch of us tended into the city to fight each other. At the end, it was a one on one fight between Fighters with my Grace just resting on the ground.

2 more Veterans

Today Grace and our wizard Louise reached Veteran status. Louise learned the Incantation stance and Grace learned the Gigante Blaster stance. Picture above is Grace's new Veteran Ancestral shotgun.

Interchange Lobby 4

We had some intense times at the Interchange Lobby 4 missions last night. On the first instance, the bosses swarmed us from the north side and managed to destroy our base. The lesson from that was to destroy the boss bases quickly before they got to our base. Taking the lesson to heart, we completed the mission successfully on the second instance. The third instance was interesting as we did destroy the bases and it seemed that we were going to success but bosses kept coming. Soon we were swamped with bosses in the northern hallway and Provoke was what we 3 Fighters could do to keep them from heading towards our base (all our other family members were down). As all we had to do was to wait for the timer to run out, we managed to succeed in that mission too.

Memorable drops were a recipe for an Elite level 84 great sword (useless as the ingredients cost more than the weapon itself), bunch of Mega Talts, and a level 96 enchantment chip.

Another new record

Another new record for Cabinet Pieces this afternoon. Managed to obtain 18 Cabinet Pieces which included the final 2 to complete the set. The reward was a recipe for a Shadrachi, a level 76 Great Sword.

Day's activities

Today, we managed to obtain a record 15 Cabinet pieces from Joaquin Prison. That's almost all of the overturned boxes of the map. We also brought an Elite level 84 Striform (coat exclusive for musketeers) and an Elite level 84 Mantis Rod from the market.

On the forums, there seems to be a thread about the rise in price of Mysterious Powders. (at 500,000 vis each) Fortunately, we've budgeted our Mysterious Powders to last till at least the end of the year. This includes obtaining the Bahamar Veteran stances (Gigante Blaster, Sight Shot, Outrage Shot, and Mighty Cruz) and Veteran Pioneer equipment.

A quick fight with Geroro this afternoon. These fights usually last less than 3 minutes hence it was difficult to capture a good picture of him. I got a level 96 Dragonlance out of it which should be good except that I already have a better polearm. I'll keep it for looks though and perhaps as emergency cash.

Odd back costumes

Tonight in Port Coimbra, we encountered a Ceres clan family whose two members had weird back costumes that I've rarely seen. The first looked like a pair of flaming horns while the second looked were a set of 4 red wings. Those flaming horns are quite useful in dark places like El Canon though as it makes the character easy to spot and follow.

Today's activities

We stumbled upon La Tierra d'Amor today. It was totally empty and desolate, without a soul in sight. However, while running through the passages, we did come across a few other Royalists.
We managed to obtain 10 Cabinet pieces from Joaquin Prison today. It was a race against other players to see who can defeat the mobs that comes out of the overturned boxes as they only appeared 2 times a day. Fortunately, Grace's Implosion skill was a great help as it was able to defeat those mobs in 1 hit, even faster than other people's Veteran characters.
We also figured out what the Jade Unknown Ore was for. It's for a Jewel quest in Auch. We collected over 700 this afternoon alone.

Halloween Pumpkin Hat

It looks like everyone received a Halloween Pumpkin hat tonight. Now Louise will be able to fly with her broomstick to scare the little kids.
